Surviving 1851 Irish Census – based on the 1994 Ottawa OGS Branch Wordperfect document

Users can search a pdf version of a comma-delimited text file containing the surviving 1851 Irish Census returns for County Antrim and the 1853 summary records of the 1851 County Cork returns by clicking on the link below (data formatting is explained at the beginning of the file). However, when you view the document (using Adobe Acrobat Reader) the text may appear small. We recommend that you adjust the zoom to 200% or select Zoom -> Fit Visible. To find information quickly, you can also enable the Adobe search engine by selecting the Search button (i.e., the one with the binocular icon).
