  1. Are complete copies of back issues of the electronic version of the Ottawa Genealogist available on-line? I am a member of the Ottawa Branch and have recently requested (to the editor) that I receive only the electronic version. I would like to know whether I can discard my backfile of the printed issues and access them online instead.

    Thanks,
    Barrie Burns

    1. This is a good question. We have all copies online but currently access is restricted. We are investigating what changes can be made to allow members to view back issues.

    2. On the front of the Ottawa Genalogist is a picture that I would like to get more information about. Can you please pass my information on to Roberta and Carole Caldwell? I would like to get more information on William Mooney that is in the picture with his mother Eliza such as when he was born. If he is who I think he is, I may be related.

    3. Hi Barb,

Austin Otis VanDewalker was my great grandfather. He died in 1906 and is buried in Brownville NY . He had two daughters, one being my grandmother, Laura by his third wife. He was a Civil War Vet. I have extensive family history on many sides of my family. My grandfather Bellinger’s sister married a Andrew McJardine from Battersea Ontario. He died in 1913. I would like to have the photo for my collection so please get back to me….Thanks
